In this scenario, I might have to admit to some back and forth plant movements. Every spring, I put my plants outside, burn a third of them, then by fall, they've recovered, and I pull them back indoors to be shocked by the sudden change in light levels, at which point they lose most of their leaves. I'm sure the plants love it! Massive sales at the local plant nursery really don't help keep the plant population down though.
