The last time I tried to cook bacon, I got frustrated at the inefficiency of using a pot to cook it, because there wasn't enough space. Then I had the brilliant idea to use the cookie sheet! So much more space. So I put it on the top of the stove and laid out the bacon, then quickly discovered that if you like your cookie sheet, this really isn't something you should do.
