Every year, the citizens of the Never Dot world have to find baby pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and adopt them for the fall season as they grow up. At the end of the season, they're ready to head off to the next stage of their life and all of them catch a bus to that far away place. It's a bittersweet time, seeing the little ones you raised head off to their own destinies. This year, with Halloween still a bit of a question mark, I left my pumpkin uncarved... and it's still looking really nice. I think I might wait a bit before putting mine on the bus.
