I did this today, and in retrospect, I didn't break anything, so clearly I beat something. Yay me! On the other hand, I probably shouldn't go sledding on a hill that's mostly trees. At least, not if I'm fond of my eyes, face, or history of zero concussions. Play safe! Play video games! The only damage they can do is lifelong repetitive stress injuries.
