Drive to conditions

This is a fairly common occurrence actually. I came home after a day of driving around to find a nice white wall of snow barring entry to my home. In fact, I couldn't even tell where my driveway should be, so perfect was the solid wall running the length of the street.
Thankfully, it wasn't followed by freezing rain, which would have turned that fluffy but heavy wall of snow into an impenetrable wall of ice.
That happened once before too. I had to get a running start to get in my driveway that year.
But I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm not very grateful for the plows. They're amazing. They just need some sort of side lasers to explode the driveway entrances as they go.
