Sorry for the delay in this week's comic, I experienced a sort of organ attack of my own. Odd that I just did a video on this days earlier. On Sunday morning (as in, 12:01am), my wife experienced seemingly cauliflower induced pains, which she of course ignored because, it's just cauliflower. Surely it'll sort itself out. But when she turned the colour of Helen the tomato in panel 2 here, I called 911 and we got her off to the hospital. They had her through a CT scan within half an hour, blood tests, ultrasound, and other tests. A little bit after that a doctor came in with a rather urgent form for us to sign for consent to immediate surgery. She was suffering from an ectopic pregnancy. Thankfully we decided to get her to the hospital rather than assuming she was just sick, or we probably would have lost her that night. Thanks to the fast acting hospital, she was operated on about 5 hours after she arrived at the hospital and in recovery. She's doing well now, but the leftover cauliflower dish is going to be going in the garbage. We'll lay off it for a while.
