I think we are genuinely discovering the value in doing things the hard way. With everything coming so easily to us, having to put effort into doing something so easy is a novelty worth paying for. If these things could fly... not sure how much shopping anybody's going to get done with all these things zooming about. Good thing the animals are padding. Out of the way, grandma!
