It has been suggested that Gerald become a detective and solve mysteries. I suspect he would spend most of his time telling people he's solving a mystery, but the real mystery would be what the crime even was. I looked over his case file and it doesn't look promising: The Case of the Missing Chocolate Chip that was Later Found The Case of the Unwashed Dishes The Case of the Overly Blue Sky The Case of the Missing Case That last one has proven to be very confounding.
