A trip out of the city last weekend took me into the depths of the dark forest on a near new moon night. It's been a while since I've had the chance to enjoy that sort of isolated night driving. While navigating some small roads, we stumbled across a very surprised raccoon, but I think my passengers were far more terrified, despite being inside an impenetrable metal and glass box. The fear quickly ebbed away and was replaced with delight as the fat fluffy raccoon bounced off into the night across our path. Awww!
