While I'm not a hardcore sports fan myself, the Olympics have always somehow bypassed that usual aversion. There's something exciting and intensely interesting about it, perhaps the variety of events or of countries coming together in peace. I'm usually happy with whomever wins at the events, especially when a smaller country with few athletes pulls out a medal. Then again, I do want our country to get more medals per capita than one of the larger powerhouse countries. Hehe.
