I feel like hand sensing water faucets are designed to avoid dispensing water as much as possible as some sort of ecological protection, which is great. But imagine if that sensor was just a bit bigger so the active area was more than just a cubic millimetre in size. That would be great. Then I wouldn't need a laser pointer to identify it. Of course, the people around me never have a problem with it and I invariably wait for them to leave, then use the one they were at, because obviously that one actually works. It's not me, it's the faucets!
