Now you see it

Uuuuuugggggggghhhhhh...
While driving down to see my parents, I thought it would be a great idea to get some video of the passing forest. The leaves were changing colour, the skies were nice. I lowered my window to get a clearer shot, but the air pressure became too uneven at our 100km/h speed, so I opened the window on the other side a bit too, beside my baby. Not as much, because I didn't want him throwing his toy Barney out the window.
He immediately marvelled at the way the wind pulled at a piece of paper he held in his hands. He raised it up and with delight, watched as it was yanked out of his grasp and away out of the car.
I nodded happily at him, then turned on my camera and started recording a bit out my window. I heard him moving about and glanced back to see him trying to shove his Barney out the window. AH! I snatched it away and tossed it in the back of the car. Phew, that was close.
I got back to recording the scene outside for a few more seconds. I heard the baby scuffling about a bit more, probably playing with the window, but at least his Barney was out of reach.
I glanced back again and saw he'd somehow found the house keys and had them held outside the window. NOOOO! I scrambled to grab his arm and pulled them back in just in time.
At this point I closed the windows and started paying attention to him. He was laughing and asking me "Where'd it go?" He often plays this game of hiding things and pretending they're missing. Although this time I suspected he'd tossed a bottle or something out before the keys, since I'd heard a bump. Hopefully it wasn't important.
Anyway, I went to get my phone to check something and it wasn't on the seat between us. Hm, was it in my pocket? No. Was it on the other side of me? No. It was definitely on the seat between us before I'd started taking pictures... did... oh no. Noooooo!
"Where'd it go? Where'd it go?"
So now I have a new phone! Yay!
