I'd like to say I didn't have a camping weekend like this, but I did. Torrential downpour for three solid days followed by a return home in nice sunny weather. Being forced to stay indoors during a camping trip did force all of my friends and I to get more time face to face, which was fantastic. I can't say I'm sad about that. I might have also played a game of tether ball during the heaviest portion of the downpour. Super fun extreme! Then again, standing in a big puddle beside a tall metal pole in the middle of a thunderstorm might not have been the smartest idea in retrospect.
