Thinking of you
2018-08-20
As dead as physical letter mail is, getting a letter from someone is a pleasantly shocking experience. Or worrying, depending who it is.
Transcribing your thoughts onto paper, then passing them to someone else to physically carry across the world to its destination so the other person can unwrap your message and read it weeks after you composed it seems beyond complicated. And those stamps. And figuring out addresses. Where do you even put the envelope? And where do you buy envelopes? What's the best way to fold paper to fit inside the envelope? A three fold or two half folds?
But I bet the letter has better odds of actually getting read.
