I'm not sure about you, but I'm somewhat addicted to buying those tiny pumpkins they have instead of the giant ones. They're so cute! From the miniature ones to just the "pie" pumpkins, imagining creative carvings for them is quite fun and exciting. Except... for the moment when you need to put a knife to them. How can you cut into those cute, tiny little guys?! The first year I bought the micro ones, I didn't, and kept three of them into March before they started to go soft. Overprotective Octopus is NOT going to let anyone harm his little baby pumpkin, no matter what crazy "holiday" you've made up that needs it to have a face.
